Mountain Starter

Our first MountainStarter will be the Highlander Infantry range. These are primarily to defend against attack from other forces who could employ forces against them. Check below for details about how the MountainStarter campaigns will work.

About MountainStarter

What is a MountainStarter? 

It is our way of crowdfunding small-run products that fans of Mountain Model Miniatures would like to have, but would be difficult for us to create because of the initial cost. We still have many releases planned for our range that will be dropped throughout the year. It’s a way for fans to show support for the products they want to add to their collection.

When a MountainStarter campaign has been launched, we will accept pre-orders for the item being crowdfunded. If enough pre-orders are placed within the time period of the campaign, we will manufacture the item. The goal of each campaign will always be the cost of creating the new product in question.

When will money be taken out of my account?

Pre-order items are charged as soon as you complete the check-out process on our website.

What happens if the item that we are trying to launch is not successful?

Any money put towards that item will be refunded at the end of a failed campaign.

When will I receive my MountainStarter item?

Each MountainStarter campaign will indicate the timeline of the project starting from the day that we hit its funding goal.

When will I receive products ordered with my pre-ordered items? 

To save on shipping, all products ordered with pre-order items will ship once the pre-order item is ready to ship. If the pre-order item fails to fund, the money for the pre-order item (and the difference in shipping cost, if any) will be refunded and existing items will be shipped at that point.

Can I cancel my pre-order? 

Any cancellation before the funding goal is met will be processed within 1-2 business days. Cancellations submitted once the campaign has been completed will follow our normal return/refund policy.

What is the return policy? 

BASIC RETURNS POLICY Within 30 days of delivery, you may return anything purchased at the Mountain Models Miniature Store. If the item is returned in undamaged and sell-able condition, we will reimburse 100% of the cost. Shipping and handling charges will not be reimbursed.
